Terms of Reference

The basis on which NPSGGG operates its website, registration and members-only portal.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms of Reference govern the use of npsgggnigeria.org, the online membership registration form and the members-only portal at membership.npsgggnigeria.org. They operate alongside, and are subordinate to, the NPSGGG Constitution. Where these terms conflict with the constitution, the constitution prevails.

2. Mandate of the platforms

  • To present the aims, structure and activities of National Prayer Support Group for Good Governance to the public.
  • To receive and screen membership applications from Nigerians of good character.
  • To maintain an accurate national membership register across zones, states, LGAs and wards.
  • To publish prayer events, news and official notifications.
  • To give each member secure access to their own profile and organisational information.

3. Membership registration

By submitting the registration form you confirm that the information supplied is true, that the photograph is your own likeness and that the identity document uploaded belongs to you. You further confirm that you have read the NPSGGG Constitution and agree to abide by it, including the monthly dues, the application fee and the screening and induction process set out in Article III.

Registration is an application, not automatic admission. The Secretariat may approve, defer or decline an application, and may request additional verification.

4. Accounts and access control

  • Portal accounts are personal. You must not share your login credentials.
  • Members may view and update only their own profile.
  • Administrators may view and update the full membership register for organisational purposes.
  • Administrative and developer access is restricted to designated officers and may be withdrawn at any time by the leadership.
  • Any suspected compromise of an account must be reported to the Secretariat immediately.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or another person's information.
  • Extract, copy or circulate the membership register or any member's data without authorisation.
  • Use the platforms to publish abusive, defamatory, tribalistic or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, probe, or disrupt the systems.
  • Present yourself as holding an office in NPSGGG that you have not been elected or appointed to.

Misuse of the Association's platforms is a disciplinary matter under Article XVII of the constitution and may lead to suspension of portal access or of membership.

6. Content and intellectual property

The NPSGGG name, logo, publications and website content belong to the Association and may not be used commercially or in political material without written permission. Photographs taken at NPSGGG events may be published on our platforms; contact the Secretariat if you wish an image of yourself removed.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the platforms available and accurate but provide them on an "as is" basis. Service may be interrupted for maintenance or by circumstances beyond our control. NPSGGG is not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the platforms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

8. Data protection

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

9. Review, governing law and contact

These terms are reviewed by the National Executive as needed, and material changes will be announced on the website and in the portal. They are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions may be sent to info@npsgggnigeria.org.
